MyPhone Rio 2 and Rio Lite 2, now official !

After days of rumors and leaks surrounding the successors to MyPhone's Rio line, finally they made it official !

At an event today, local brand MyPhone officially unveiled the Rio 2 and Rio Lite 2. Some said that a week ahead before the announcement, Rio 2 is already on sale on some MyPhone stores which gave way to the leaks spreading around the web.

Is it a worth of an upgrade ? I will let you decide and here are the official specs :

- 1.3Ghz quad-core processor (SOC not yet confirmed)

MyPhone Rio Lite 2

- 1.3Ghz quad-core processor (SOC not yet confirmed)

- 8GB ROM expandable via microSD up to 64GB
- 8MP Autofocus camera (Samsung sensor) w/LED flash
- 2MP front-facing camera
- 2120maH battery
- Android Lollipop 5.0 Lollipop

PRICE : Php. 4590.00

The most notable upgrade is the battery which is nice but if they preferred to use the aging MediaTek MT6582 SOC, then this would be meh ! and yeah the only upgrade is the battery, screen, and internal storage.
